Sofia’s research specialty is global consumer culture. She studies how large social trends and shifts in cultural values, norms and ideologies influence the way we consume (e.g. style and fashion) and produce (e.g. the conceptual production of fashion, design and brands). She is also a frequently used speaker at international academic conferences, and at large business events nationally and internationally.
