Anne Mitchell, PhD Appointed as a Fellow in the Gerontological Society of America

Anne Mitchell, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Jefferson College of Nursing has been selected as a Fellow in the Gerontological Society of America (GSA).

The Gerontological Society of America is the oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging. GSA’s principal mission is to promote the study of aging and disseminate information to scientists, decision makers, and the general public. 

Fellow status in the Gerontological Society of America represents the highest class of membership within the society and is an acknowledgment of outstanding and continuing work in the field of gerontology. Throughout her career, Dr. Mitchell has demonstrated leadership and dedication to aging research and education and advocacy on aging policy initiatives.
