Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)
The Jefferson College of Population Health's (JCPH) Master of Public Health (MPH) program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). CEPH is a nationally recognized accrediting agency that works to assess and evaluate the quality of our public health curriculum.
The multi-step accreditation process includes the development of a DRAFT Self-Study, a site visit by a CEPH accreditation team and a review by the CEPH Board of Councilors. The Self-Study is organized into four sections: (1) The Public Health Program; (2) Instructional Programs; (3) Creation, Application and Advancement of Knowledge; and (4) Faculty, Staff and Students. In October 2016, the CEPH Board of Councilors announced that JCPH's MPH program was reaccredited for 7 years, the maximum designation. The MPH program is now accredited until December 31, 2024. To view the Accreditation Report from CEPH, click here.
