Residency

The ACGME accredited Radiology Residency Program at Jefferson has an outstanding national reputation. The American Board of Radiology (ABR) requires a one-year clinical internship followed by four years of training in Diagnostic Radiology. As a testimony to the quality of teaching, Jefferson residents have consistently ranked in the top echelon in the country in ABR boards performance over the past decade. The principal goal of our program is to produce highly trained, competent radiologists who will find themselves well prepared for successful careers in both academic and private practice sectors. This goal is achieved by promoting a friendly and stimulating environment conducive to learning. The educational curriculum is continually updated in order to keep pace with the rapid advances in radiology.
