Greater Opportunity for Academic Learning & Living Successes GOALS² Program

GOALS2 Program

The GOALS2 Program is a free service designed to help college students and transition-age youth meet their academic and other life goals. Through supportive conversation, students identify strategies that they can implement to achieve these goals.  Some common clients’ goals are time and stress management, scheduling, organization skills, strengthening relationships, life balance, financial management, improving sleep, healthy eating, and exercise. Priority is given to Jefferson students with disabilities or other health conditions.

What is GOALS2?

The GOALS2 Program offers one-on-one coaching services to college students and transition-age youth. Coaching is a flexible individualized process through which clients:

  • identify goals, big or small, that are important to them;
  • gain awareness about ways to achieve this goal; and
  • identify the next steps in order to make progress.

What do GOALS2 services look like?

  • 1:1 session
  • Conducted via Zoom, telephone, or in-person
  • 1-2 times a week for 45-60 minutes
  • Generally, for 8-12 weeks
  • From September to May, yearly

Who will you work with?

The GOALS2 Program is run by the Department of Occupational Therapy (OT) at Thomas Jefferson University. The sessions are conducted by trained coaches who are graduate OT students, occupational therapists and others who are committed to your success.
