Research Interest

My research spans several diverse areas.  One is interactive prototyping, and the effective use of inexpensive, open-source hardware/software development environments to quickly iterate and develop new product experiences.  Another primary focus is studying processes of collaborative new-product development in interdisciplinary contexts. I also maintain a design practice specializing in information systems and design for public spaces.
