Request a School Speaker
The Jefferson School Speaker Series brings Jefferson professionals out of their offices and clinical settings into classrooms, connecting them with students of all ages. Through direct, real-world engagement, the program inspires learning, sparks curiosity, supports workforce exploration and builds awareness of the many careers and educational pathways available through Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.
Are you a K–12 teacher seeking guest speakers for classroom visits?
Jefferson faculty and staff are eager to support classroom learning through career talks and subject-matter expertise across a wide range of topics, including:
- Nursing and other healthcare careers
- Fashion merchandising
- Science and research
- Landscape architecture and community engagement
- Innovation and business
- Media production
- Study strategies, choosing a career or major and stress management
- Art therapy and creativity
- Refugee and immigrant health
- And more — yes, even fossil fish!
Teachers are invited to submit an online request form to be matched with a School Speaker volunteer. Please submit requests at least three weeks prior to your event date.
