Readiness, Exploration, & Application for Careers in Health (REACH) Program

The Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Sciences (JCRS) High School REACH program is a five-day summer program designed for rising high school juniors and seniors interested in health careers, such as athletic training, exercise science, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology.

What participants gain:

  • Insight into the rehabilitation sciences professions and the critical role they play in the care team
  • Guidance on traditional and accelerated academic pathways from Undergraduate to Graduate education
  • Tips for standing out on college applications, personal statements, and in interviews
  • Strategies for success in undergraduate education

We welcome applicants who:

  • Are rising high school juniors and seniors
  • Can articulate their confirmed interest in the rehabilitation sciences’ professions
  • Attend high school in the Philadelphia School District
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
