At Jefferson’s Construction Management Program, strong integration with the construction management community in Philadelphia and the tri-state area provides students and graduates with valuable internships and job placement opportunities. Jefferson’s Career Services streamlines the internship process by helping students update their resumes, find internships, and attend on-campus interviews with potential employers. Students have the opportunity to apply for Internships for Credit, where they work in the construction industry at a particular company, while registering for academic credit for that internship. You can visit Jefferson's Marianne Able Career Services (East Falls) for more details regarding the Internship Process.
The B.S. in Construction Management program is now offering an Internship Practice Track. This track is optional and provides students an opportunity to gain industry experience, while completing their degree. Internship for Credit courses are built into the curriculum as electives, so that students can still complete the degree within the planned time frame, while gaining practical industry experience. Students in this track apply their hands-on classroom knowledge in appropriate internship positions beginning their junior year. Our experienced faculty and connections with industry partners will help students to network with future employers.
