Scholarly Inquiry Track for Sidney Kimmel Medical College Students

Scholarly Inquiry (SI) is a required component of the JeffMD curriculum of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. It is intended to provide medical students with skills and experience that they need to become critical consumers and producers of medical knowledge.

The Digital Health track trains students in ways that new disruptive technology can be used to promote health and well-being. The broad scope of digital health includes (but is not limited to) mobile health, health information technology, wearable devices, telehealth, and telemedicine. This track is designed to help future physicians improve clinical care and patient outcomes through the use of new technologies, in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including developers, payors, healthcare professionals, and patients.
