Biography
Dr. Santana is the clinical lead for Evernorth's population health measurement in women's health, cardiodiabesty, oncology and behavioral health. Her career in healthcare leadership combines population health and value-based contracting, EHR implementation, digital health integration, revenue cycle, and performance metric design. Dr. Santana is an expert in teamwork training and quality improvement methods, and is a practicing internist.
Her work has delivered substantial insights to clients as well as shared savings. In 2018 Dr. Santana was selected to the inaugural class of Crain's New York Notable Women in Healthcare, and in 2021-2023 she was Chair of the Chief Information Officers Council for the American Medical Group Association.
Dr. Santana was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She studied Human Biology and Spanish Literature at Cornell University and completed her medical degree at Harvard Medical School.
