RESEARCH & CLINICAL INTEREST

Dr. Ihuoma Njoku is a board-certified psychiatrist. As a psychiatrist, her clinical work focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and other psychiatric illnesses. Her care involves biologic, psychological, and social approaches to mental health, including medication management and therapeutic support.

Dr. Njoku has contributed to academic discussions on psychiatric education and training, while also dvocating for expanded psychiatric training for physicians outside of psychiatry, demonstrating a commitment to strengthening psychiatric education, advancing curriculum development, and enhancing mental health care competency across medical specialties.
