Jefferson Nexus Learning (Roydhouse) Award

College Education & Mentoring Awards

The Jefferson Nexus Learning Award recognizes a full-time member who best embodies the Nexus Learning philosophy (active, collaborative, real world learning infused with the liberal arts) in their teaching and/or in pedagogical research/scholarship/creative work.  Up to one award will be given.

Nomination Process:  Any member of the Thomas Jefferson University faculty may nominate or self-nominate a full-time, part-time, or adjunct faculty member.  The nomination packet should include a one to two-page letter of nomination describing how the nominee embodies Nexus Learning according to the selection criteria.  Appendices with specific examples are encouraged.  Nominations should be submitted to the faculty member’s College Executive Committee and the Dean for approval. 

Eligibility:  All full-time, part-time, adjunct or affiliated faculty members with at least two years of service at Thomas Jefferson University are eligible to receive this award.  A faculty member who has received an award is not eligible to receive the same award more than once.  Deans, Department Chairs and Academic Administrators are not eligible for this award.
