Career Achievement Award

The Provost’s Career Achievement Award recognizes a Thomas Jefferson University faculty member who has made exemplary contributions to the missions of the University—excellence in education, sustained and impactful research/scholarship/creative work, and extensive campus and professional citizenship over the course of their career at Jefferson.     
Up to one award will be given.

Nomination Process: Faculty may be nominated for this award by their College Dean or by the College’s Faculty Affairs Committee. Nominations should be approved by the College’s Executive Committee and the Dean prior to submission.  The nomination packet should include a one to two-page letter of nomination and an unabridged curriculum vitae.

Eligibility:  All Senior Faculty members are eligible to receive this award who have been in academics and at Jefferson for a minimum of fifteen years.  A faculty member who has received this award is not eligible to receive the same award more than once.  Deans, Department Chairs and Academic Administrators are not eligible for this award.
