This event is a mixture of an interview day and a career fair and, for the first time, will be open to all majors! Before the event, employers who are interviewing at the Spring Career Day & Design Expo will receive an email with portfolio links and/or resumes of the students who preregistered to attend. The employers interviewing will then schedule interviews with the student(s) they are interested in.

How will this event differ from previous Design Expos?

The main difference will be the increase in students attending. All of the same great design majors will be participating, and you will still be able to preview portfolios and schedule student interviews.

Are you only interested in attending the career fair portion of the day?

Not a problem! At the time of registration, you will indicate if you are interested in hosting interviews or would only like to attend the career fair portion of the day.

Majors Attending

The Spring Career Day & Design Expo offers a fantastic opportunity for you to network with undergraduate and master’s design, architecture, business, construction, and health students and conduct individual face-to-face interviews to review their resumes/portfolios for internships and post-graduation full-time jobs. 

Students: Attend the Spring Career Day and Design Expo on the East Falls Campus to meet employers recruiting for internships and full-time jobs!  All majors and grade levels are welcome!

If you register in Handshake by January 22nd, employers will be able to review your resume and/or portfolio before the event and could invite you to interview at the Spring Career Day on February 15th. 

• January 16, 17, 18 - 10 am - 3 pm: Extended Drop-in Hours to prepare for Design Expo; Portfolio Reviews (Kanbar 313)
• January 16 - 9:30 am - 11 am: Download for Donuts (Kanbar Living Room)
• January 17 - Deadline to Register for Internship for Credit
• January 22 - 12 pm: Deadline to Sign Up for Interviews during Spring Career Day & Design Expo
• February 6 - 12:30 pm: Internship Search Strategy Workshop (Kanbar 314)
• February 6 - 1:30 pm: Prepare for Spring Career Day & Design Expo Workshop (Kanbar 314)
