In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Steven Herrine is Vice Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC), overseeing the design, implementation and monitoring of the curriculum at the College. In this role, and with the support of the University Provost and Dean, a major curricular transformation was recently launched. The SKMC transformational plan includes significant opportunities for interprofessional education, while acknowledging the importance of the continuum of medical education from pipeline programs, undergraduate experience, career tracking within the medical curriculum and linkage with post-graduate training programs.
