biography

Dr. Sorena Vosoughkhosravi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Construction Management at Thomas Jefferson University. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Construction Management from Louisiana State University and his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. His research focuses on energy equity in the built environment, applying data-driven and machine learning approaches to building energy efficiency using national datasets such as the American Time Use Survey, American Housing Survey, and Residential Energy Consumption Survey.

Dr. Vosoughkhosravi has published extensively on occupant behavior modeling, sustainable construction, and energy performance analysis. He was recognized as an Outstanding Reviewer for the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management in 2024, highlighting his contributions to the advancement of the field. His teaching experience spans construction management, sustainability, and building systems, reflecting his commitment to bridging practical industry needs with innovative research.
