I am an anatomy and physiology educator whose research focuses on the thoughtful integration of technology and artificial intelligence in higher education. My work explores how AI-enhanced instructional materials, interactive learning tools, and online learning modules can strengthen student engagement and conceptual understanding. Through The Clever Professor faculty development initiative, supported by an internal seed grant, I also examine faculty perceptions of generative AI and its relationship to workload and burnout across disciplines. Broadly, I am interested in how emerging technologies can be integrated to strengthen teaching practice in ways that enhance student learning and faculty well-being in higher education.
