Designed for high school graduates that are interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy.  This program provides an accelerated degree path that shortens the time to graduation by one full year, while still delivering a high quality educational experience that couples both classroom and clinical based educational experiences necessary to earn a Bachelors of Science in exercise science and a doctorate in physical therapy.  The exercise science aspect will provide graduates with foundational knowledge in science, anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription.

Students complete three years of coursework in the exercise science program, which encompasses foundational knowledge in science, anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription.  It also includes all of the required prerequisites for the MSAT Athletic Training program.  Students meeting all program prerequisites and academic standards will progress into the professional phase of the program. (Students who do not meet these requirements will be eligible to complete a four year BS degree in Exercise Science.) The three year curriculum in exercise science totals 105 credits of undergraduate coursework.  Once entered into the professional phase students will complete five full semesters of athletic training education and clinical course work for a total of 65 credits.
