Department of Exercise Science
Welcome to the Department of Exercise Science
Whether you are interested in our undergraduate Exercise Science Programs or our graduate Athletic Training Programs, all Jefferson graduates are prepared for successful careers and to be leaders in their respective professions.
Our faculty provide the core foundation for the educational programs by: 1) putting our students first and caring for not only their education but also their health and wellbeing, 2) being great instructors that make learning fun, and 3) conducting high-quality scientific research that continually gets incorporated into the curriculum to provide the most up-to-date evidence-based knowledge. Our programs also include a variety of hands-on clinical educational experiences that allow students to gain practical knowledge working with real patients and clients.
Collectively, the Department of Exercise Science at Thomas Jefferson University provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the very competitive health and fitness job market.
