Department of Exercise Science

Our faculty provide the core foundation for the educational programs by 1) putting our students first and caring for not only their education but also their health and wellbeing, 2) being great instructors that make learning fun, and 3) conducting high-quality scientific research, which is incorporated into the curriculum to provide the most up-to-date evidence-based knowledge. Our programs also include a variety of hands-on clinical educational experiences that allow students to gain practical knowledge working with actual patients and clients.

The Department of Exercise Science at Thomas Jefferson University provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the competitive health and fitness job market.
