Expertise & Research Interests
Dr. Heller’s philosophy is to provide customized spine care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Not one tool or procedure is correct for every patient, and he will take the time to determine what is causing a patient’s symptoms and recommend the very best treatment possible. He is able to provide the full gamut of spine care including simple decompression, minimal access surgery, non-fusion technology, spinal fusion, and deformity correction. Regardless of intervention, it is his goal to maintain normal spinal alignment and function, so as to prevent spine related problems later in life. Dr. Heller’s interests and focus are adult spinal deformity (scoliosis, kyphosis), minimal access surgery, SI Fusion, and complex cases (revisions).
