Conference Schedule

The conference schedule is extensive and varied. Residents are expected to attend and actively participate. To this end, protected time is provided for the core lecture series. The core lecture series occurs on Thursday afternoons from 1 - 5 pm, immediately following Pre-Op Conference. Conference topics are based upon CREOG learning objectives and follow a two-year cycle so that each resident is exposed to two complete cycles during the course of the four year training experience. Residents participate in simulation activities (monthly) designed to help improve on procedural skills and patient interactions. Each resident class participates in monthly Wellness Groups facilitated by the APD to develop resilience and provide support for residents.
