Visiting Students & Observerships
Visiting Students
The Department of Pathology & Genomic Medicine's elective opportunities for visiting students can be viewed through the AAMC's Visting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) dashboard. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis and acceptance is dependent upon availablity and course coordinator review and approval. The following four-week pathology electives are offered at designated times each year:
- PATH 401: General Pathology
- PATH 402: Hematopathology
To be considered for PATH 402, students must have taken PATH 401 or its four-week equivalent. In the case of an equivalent, the student must submit the course description to the education coordinator to be considered. - PATH 404: Postmortem Pathology
Please visit the Registrar's Office for more information and direct all application questions to VisitingStudents@Jefferson.edu.
