About Our Center City Campus
Philadelphia is the sixth largest city in the United States and is home to historical sites, museums, and a thriving food, music and arts scene – not to mention a large population of college students. Our Center City Campus is rooted in the center of this vibrant city, and has been since 1824.
Health & Safety Information
Thomas Jefferson University takes your health and safety seriously. COVID-19 is highly contagious and capable of widespread person-to-person transmission. While you visit our campus, you must follow the stated health & safety guidelines. Based on the nature of the coronavirus, Jefferson cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed COVID-19 as a result of your time on our campus.

Preparing for Your Visit
Where does the tour start?
Your tour will take place on our Center City Campus in Philadelphia. After you pre-register, you will receive directions to campus, parking information and instructions on how check-in when you arrive.
Is parking available on campus?
Street and garage parking is available near the start of our Center City Campus Self-Guided Tour. At this time, we do not validate parking for visitors.
After you pre-register, parking recommendations will be sent to you via email.
What should I bring with me?
Your tour will be a self-guided interactive experience. To particpate, you will need access to a smart phone or tablet.
Please review our health and safety guidelines to learn more about protocol related to COVID-19.
A comfortable pair of walking shoes is recommended. The tour route will take about 30 minutes to complete.
How long is the tour route?
Our self-guided tour route will take you around 30 minutes to complete. We encourage you to wear a comfortable pair of shoes while visiting.
Will students and faculty be on campus?
You will likely see our current students, faculty and staff during your visit.
Our campus is located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia and we share sidewalks and common spaces with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the general public.
Please be sure to maintain 6 feet of distance from anyone outside of the group that you traveled to Jefferson with.
Will I have access to a restroom?
Unfortunately, guests are not able to access campus buildings so you will not have access to a restroom during your visit to Jefferson.
Will campus buildings be open?
Access to campus buildings is currently restricted to students, staff and faculty.
Is the tour route wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The self-guided tour route is ADA accessible.
How can I connect with admissions?
Admissions is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Our team is working remotely but can assist you while you are on-campus. Contact us at 215-951-2800.
An admissions counselor will be in touch with you approximately 24 hours after your visit to follow up and answer any questions that you may have.
