This piece is meant to be the sister piece to my An Empathic Touch. It is meant to depict the lost person entering into their inner space, looking to find themselves. The same inner space that the found person had made visible to them. The change in color of footprints is meant to represent how the deeper the lost person journeys into themselves, the more they find themself and the more they rely on the once felt empathic touch in order to feel safe.
