Flourishing Heart by Amanda Rose Farese

Flourishing Heart

This was an assignment in our Art Therapy Studio course and the prompt was to create something using a cereal box that reflects my self-identity as an Artist. I have some background in medical illustration and often still incorporate anatomy intertwined with nature in my works. I see skeletal parts as the raw parts of us and nature as the growth. I sculpted a heart from crumbled paper and placed it inside with real flowers. I often create things that reveal the hidden parts of us.
