The College of Health Professions’ Counseling and Behavioral Health Department has received a nearly $2 million grant to bolster its workforce education and training efforts.

In partnership with the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health – Jefferson Health, IEHP introduces a Master of Science in Integrative Health and advanced practice certificate in Integrative Health Education -- rounding out current advanced practice certificate options in Mind-Body Medicine and IntIegrative Nutrition.

The “Reimagining Health Care – Telehealth Training Course” will start in January, as a pandemic surge and widespread unemployment are on the minds of many.

The latest installment features Taryn Waraksa, a cytotechnologist at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The 2014 Jefferson grad recently made the ASCP 40 Under Forty List, an honor given to high-achieving pathologists, pathology residents and medical laboratory professionals under age 40.
