Certificate in Biopharmaceutical Process Development

The Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing is proud to announce the launch of a 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Biopharmaceutical Process Development (BPD Certificate). The curriculum is designed to credibly prepare students who have already earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Life Sciences for a variety of technical jobs in biomanufacturing.

BS or MS in Biotechnology with a concentration in Biopharmaceutical Process Development

The Jefferson Biotechnology program, in collaboration with the Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing (JIB), offers a unique opportunity for students to earn a BS or MS degree in Biotechnology with a concentration in Biopharmaceutical Process Development (BPD) for the one-year BS and MS degree tracks. 

MBA with a concentration in Biopharmaceutical Commercialization

The School of Business, in collaboration with JIB, offers their MBA to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a rewarding career in the biopharma industry while focusing on the commercialization of advanced medicines, including cell and gene therapies, recombinant vaccines and protein replacement therapies. Additionally, students will gain an understanding of the production of biopharmaceuticals and biologics, their regulatory and quality-based requirements, and key commercialization strategies and analytics.

PhD in Biologics Process Engineering

The IS-PhD Program in Biologics Process Engineering is devoted to fostering and providing real life experience in process and product development and is focused on translating life science discoveries in emerging therapies into practical outcomes.  The IS-PhD Program is delivered by Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing (JIB).
