NAPLEX & Match Rate Success

  • NAPLEX Pass Rate is Top 20% in the Nation: The College of Pharmacy congratulates the PharmD Class of 2023 who endured through the pandemic and maintained a focus on their learning. Jefferson graduates maintained a high standard with an 86.7% first-time test-taker pass rate on the NAPLEX, which is in the top 20% of all ACPE-accredited programs. Jefferson graduates continue to outperform the national average of 78.6% pass rate, and they increased the gap between Jefferson graduates and grads from most other Pennsylvania programs.
  • Pharmacy Residency Match rate is in the top 10%: The Doctor of Pharmacy Class of 2024 had a 90% match rate for pharmacy residency — placing them in the top 10% in the country. This continues the college’s tradition of matching higher than the national average (74% this year). In addition, the Class of 2023 boasted a 100% match for those pursuing an optional second year of residency training (vs. 77% nationally).
