Doctor of Pharmacy

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) / Master of Public Health (MPH)

The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) / Master of Public Health (MPH) is offered with the College of Population Health

The PharmD/MPH degree recognizes the growing synergy between the fields of pharmacy and public health practice and reflects the growing interest among professionals to seek advanced graduate training in research methods, leadership and population health.

Students may complete the degree on a full-time or part-time basis. The MPH degree requires 45 credits, but 12 credits from the PharmD curriculum can be applied to the program. Pharmacy students need only complete 33 additional credits (11 courses) to earn the MPH. Additionally, students work closely with faculty to design and complete an independent Capstone project on a topic of their choice.

Students may apply to the MPH degree program at any point after entry up to the end of the third professional year in the PharmD program. For information contact Admissions & Recruitment Manager April Smith: April.Smith@jefferson.edu
