BIOGRAPHY
Maima has over 15 years of experience in program management, community engagement, and project development working in the not-for-profit, State, public, and private sectors. She has worked with school-aged children in Oral Health, Child Nutrition, and Immunization programs. She currently serves the Medicaid population as a Health and CLAS (culturally and linquistically appropriate services) Program Manager to address health disparities of the most vulnerable and marginalized populations. In her role, she manages several state initiatives related to immigrants, people with limited English proficiency (LEP), the LGBTQ community, cultural competency, and CLAS.
