This virtual program provides school-based occupational therapy practitioners with a systematic and justice oriented approach to decision making throughout the evaluation process. Justice-Oriented Data Driven Decision Making (JO-DDDM) is an evidence-based method that promotes equitable student-centered education planning.
Topics Include
- An approach for Justice–Oriented Decision Making during the OT evaluation process
- Understanding student participation in context
- Engaging evaluation partners (students, family, school personnel)
- Preparing justice-oriented OT evaluation results for collaboration with the education team
Lab Includes
- Weekly online learning activities
- 3 Virtual sessions
- Access to supplemental resources
