Research & Clinical Interests

Amanda Deutsch, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Director of Well-Being of Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. Her research interests include operationalizing system-level initiatives to refine process improvements that sustain well-being for the emergency department. Dr. Deutsch seeks to be innovative in fostering well-being and its subsequent positive impacts on patient outcomes, department productivity, and ultimately, professional fulfillment. She focuses on how to cultivate a sense of belonging within the department and how to continue to prioritize the humanity of each clinician.
