Dr. Bierowski’s research and clinical interests focus on graduate medical education and the professional development of junior faculty in academic emergency medicine. She is committed to enhancing mentorship, leadership development and the transparency of policies that impact residents and faculty. Her work includes creating innovative educational tracks, streamlining onboarding processes and addressing gaps in support during pivotal transitions in academic careers. A key focus of her efforts is improving the transparency and accessibility of family leave policies and maternity-related adaptations in residency programs, ensuring equitable opportunities for trainees and faculty managing these life transitions.
