We understand that you may be worried about joining us for a formal on-campus information session and student guided tour due to COVID-19 concerns. We also know how important it is to physically visit campuses during the college search process, so we created our self-guided tour option.
During this interactive experience, you will have the opportunity to explore campus and hear from our students, faculty and staff through pre-recorded videos and messages.
This self-guided tour is intended for undergraduate and graduate students interested in programs in Architecture, Business, Design, Engineering, Fashion & Textiles, Health, Science and the Social Sciences.

About Our East Falls Campus
Our East Falls Campus has the best of both worlds. Only 10 minutes from all that the City of Philadelphia has to offer, the 104 acres of scenic, tree-lined grounds feel like a world away. East Falls and neighboring Wissahickon and Manayunk are quaint towns full of restaurants and shops. The campus itself is located at Wissahickon Valley Park’s edge, giving easy access to miles of hiking and biking trails.
Health & Safety
At this time, we are only able to offer on-campus visits to Pennsylvania residents per the state’s mandated quarantine guidelines. An exception can be made if you provide the results of a negative COVID-19 test administered within three days of your visit. If you live outside of Pennsylvania, you may be interested in our Virtual Visit opportunities.
Every visitor to campus is required to adhere to the following health & safety guidelines; guests who do not comply will be asked to leave campus. If you are unable to comply with the standards below, we are happy to meet with you virtually.
- Wear a mask at all times (gaiters, bandanas, and scarves are not permitted).
- Maintain proper social distance (6 feet) from anyone outside of the group you traveled to Jefferson with.
- Stay home if experiencing the following symptoms per Jefferson Occupational Health Network (JOHN):
- One of the following:
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- OR two (2) of the following:
- Fever (>100.0)
- Chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- One of the following:
- Stay home if exposed to someone with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis within the last 14 days.
- Visit campus at another time if you've visited any state listed on the Pennsylvania or New Jersey hotspot lists without having had quarantined for 14 days:
Thomas Jefferson University takes your health and safety seriously. COVID-19 is highly contagious and capable of widespread person-to-person transmission. While you visit our campus, you must follow the stated health & safety guidelines. Based on the nature of the coronavirus, Jefferson cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed COVID-19 as a result of your time on our campus.

Preparing for Your Visit
Where does the tour start?
Your tour will take place on our East Falls Campus in Philadelphia. After you pre-register, you will receive directions to campus, parking information and instructions on how check-in when you arrive.
Is parking available on campus?
Yes. Free guest parking is available on our East Falls Campus. After you pre-register, additional information about where to park will be sent to you via email.
What should I bring with me?
Your tour will be a self-guided interactive experience. To participate, you will need access to a smart phone or tablet.
Social distancing and masking protocols related to COVID-19 restrictions are in place on campus. All guests are required to wear a face mask while at Jefferson. Gaiters, bandanas, and scarves are not permitted.
A comfortable pair of walking shoes is recommended. The tour route will take about 45 minutes to complete.
How long is the tour route?
Our self-guided tour route will take you around 45 minutes to complete. We encourage you to wear a comfortable pair of shoes while visiting.
Will students and faculty be on campus?
Our Spring semester is currently under way so you will likely see our current students, faculy and staff during your visit. Please be sure to maintain 6 feet of distance from anyone outside of the group that you traveled to Jefferson with.
Will I have access to a restroom?
Unfortunately, guests are not able to access campus buildings so you will not have access to a restroom during your visit to Jefferson.
Will campus buildings be open?
No. Access to campus buildings is currently restricted to current students, staff and faculty.
Is the tour route wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The self-guided tour route is ADA accessible.
How can I connect with admissions?
Admissions is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Our team is working remotely but can assist you while you are on-campus. Contact us at 215-951-2800.
An admissions counselor will be in touch with you approximately 24 hours after your visit to follow up and answer any questions that you may have.
