MSCM Online Program

The M.S. in Construction Management Online Program (MSCM) is designed for students with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, business, management, or related fields. Students from fields other than construction will be able to gather an advanced construction management knowledge via the courses offered.

Why Jefferson online Masters of Construction Management?

Our expert online faculty is comprised of experienced full-time professors and adjunct professors, who are practicioners with diverse backgrounds in construction management, general contracting, and architecture. The curriculum is designed to prepare students to be effective construction managers and build up their own career growth in the construction industry.

Is the online program the right program for me?

The program is especially suitable for adult learners and practitioners, who would like to switch their career path to become construction practitioners such as project managers or project engineers. The M.S. in Construction Management degree allows you to work in the construction industry as a construction manager even if you do not have a construction-related bachelor's degree. As the program is fully online, students will have control and responsibility over the learning process.

How does the online MSCM program work?

The program offers a convenient and flexible 100% online degree that fits in your schedule on a whatever whenever basis. MSCM online courses are recorded and can be accessed via the Learning Management System (LMS) any time or day of the week. Students are expected to listen to video lectures and complete required tasks (assignments, quizzes, etc.) online throughout each week.

What is the length of the program?

The length of the program depends on the number of courses/credits taken per semester. On average, students complete the online program in two years. The overall curriculum is a total of 36 credits and you can refer to the Curriculum for details. A unique curriculum advising sheet is completed by the Graduate Advisor for each student upon entering the program.

What if I have more questions?

You may contact the Program Director, Gulbin Ozcan-Deniz, for academic questions and Graduate Admissions for questions related to admissions, tuition, scholarships, and other areas of the admission process.
