Will the certificate credits transfer to a degree program?
Yes. A complete certificate is 12 credits, all of which will transfer into our PP-OTD program. Courses are taught at the graduate level and may be transferred to another institution.
Where are classes held?
Classes are 100% online and there are synchronous classes (approximately 3-4 per course) and asynchronous activities.
How much time should I expect to devote to the program?
The Program is designed for part-time study so that practicing therapists can complete the certificate while maintaining employment and personal obligations. Students can expect to spend three hours a week in an online class and additional time reading and completing assignments.
Are certificate courses applicable for continuing education credit?
Professional Development Units (PDU) for these courses are available through your professional organization.
What kind of learning experiences will be used?
The curriculum allows for a dynamic interactive learning environment using the latest technology for distance learning, which allows access to a variety of experts on specific topic areas.
