Mission Statement
The Department of Public Safety’s mission is to strive to provide a safe and secure environment for all students, staff, faculty and persons visiting our campus. Believing in the community caretaking philosophy and understanding that safety is a shared responsibility, we want to engage with the entire community in identifying problems and solutions. The Department enforces University regulations and maintains collaborative partnerships with other law enforcement agencies to preserve the quality of safety on campus.
