As of November 30, 2022, the Photo ID Center is moving to the Medical Office Building, located at 1100 Walnut Street, Suite 102 (to the left, before the lobby entrance).
The Photo ID Center provides the Jefferson Community with the Jefferson Photo ID Badge allowing convenient, effective, and secure access to all card-related services. These services include personal identification, facilities access and access monitoring, Campus Currency for on and off campus purchases, Commuter Services transactions (parking and transit), discount ticket sales, Jefferson Fitness & Recreation Center member access, and printing at the Scott Memorial Library.
Your Jefferson Photo ID Badge
Photo ID Badges Policy (No 200.30)
Proper personal identification is an essential part of Jefferson’s security efforts and promotes effective communication with patients, employees, medical staff, students, and vendors. The photo identification badge, by its nature, should be a clear, concise device for identification. Federal and State regulations have mandated that the photo identification badge of anyone having direct patient care must also display the state-recognized licensure and the generic job title on the front of the badge.
All Jefferson personnel (students, faculty, staff, medical staff, residents, volunteers, contractors, vendors, and visitors) will display a Jefferson photo identification badge while on Jefferson property.
Photo Identification Badges
The initial photo identification badge is free; however, there is a $25.00 replacement cost for lost or damaged badges.
Stolen badges can be replaced for free if you have a police report; otherwise, you would be responsible for the $25.00 replacement fee. All lost/stolen badges can be replaced at your location Photo ID center.

Replacement
Our cards have microchips embedded within them. A hole punch compromises the microchip and disables the card's ability to function. You will be required to pay the $25.00 replacement fee.
Door Access
The Jefferson Photo ID Badge is encoded with technology that permits access to campus buildings and, when appropriately authorized, various locked areas (i.e., residence halls, ED, research labs, etc.).
Commuter Services
The Commuter Services Office (CSO) provides transportation and parking assistance to Jefferson personnel and students. A valid Jefferson Photo ID Badge must be presented to access CSO products and services. Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Campus Currency, Qualified Trans Benefit (employees) and CSO Additional Payment Af Tax (employees) are accepted for payment. Review your Qualified Trans Benefit (employees) and CSO Additional Payment Aft Tax (employees) balances in the Online Card Center.
Library Privileges & Printing
Your Jefferson Photo ID Badge must be presented in order to gain access to the Scott Memorial Library and to check out materials. The library printing program was designed to provide access to printing resources through the Scott Memorial Library.
Printers and copiers accepting Campus Currency can be found in the Scott Memorial Library on floors 2, 3, and 4 as well as the Learning Resource Center in Room M-13, Jefferson Alumni Hall. If you experience any issues with your printing/copying, please visit the Library Circulation Desk on the 2nd Floor of Scott Memorial Library for assistance.
Printing/copying is just $0.10 per page.
Make deposits for your printing and copying needs to Campus Currency through the Online Card Center or in-person at Card Services (Commuter Services Office/Photo ID Center) in the Medical Office Building*.
Campus Currency

Online Card Center (GET)
The convenience of managing the accounts on your Jefferson Photo ID Badge is available through the Online Card Center (GET) 24 hours a day.
You can make a deposit, suspend your account if you lost your card, check your account balance(s), view transactions, or send an email to a family member, letting them know that your account balances are getting low.
