JCIPE Statement on Professionalism
At JCIPE, we are each responsible for demonstrating professional behavior in line with University and College guidelines.
Fostering a community of professional integrity, honesty, and excellence requires the commitment of everyone in the Jefferson community. We are each responsible to:
- promote a culture of integrity, trust, respect, and excellence;
- ask questions when we are unsure about what to do;
- hold ourselves and our team members accountable; and,
- speak up if we have good faith concerns about possible violations of the law, the Jefferson Code of Conduct or Jefferson policies.
Reporting Professionalism Concerns
Students, faculty, and staff are expected to report concerns about professionalism. They may report concerns directly to JCIPE leadership or staff, through JCIPE’s Concern Reporting Survey and/or Jefferson’s alert line at 833-ONE-CODE (833-663-2633).
Speaking up about a possible violation of the Code, other Jefferson policies, or the law is the right thing to do. Unprofessional behavior will be communicated to the appropriate individuals in the applicable ollege or academic program.
