How do I apply?

Thomas Jefferson University subscribes to a “rolling admissions” policy. Rolling admissions means that there is no set application deadline. For more information contact the Office of Admissions directly. You can apply online by clicking here.

No, there is not a portfolio requirement as part of Admissions process for incoming freshman to Thomas Jefferson University. However, there may be a portfolio requirement for transfer students. For more information, contact admissions or the program director. In addition, there is a portfolio requirement to exit the program, as a portfolio is a required component to graduate from the Graphic Design Communication program.

The Graphic Design Communication curriculum culminates with a Bachelors of Science degree.

Students entering Thomas Jefferson University are required to have their own mobile computer (examples include: laptop, net­book, iPad, etc). While these computers are not meant to replace the specialized hardware and software students will use as part of their coursework, these devices will permit students to work virtually anywhere on campus—allowing for even greater integration of technology into the instructional experience.
