The Health Research Methods Graduate Certificate is designed for students (faculty, staff and clinicians) who are seeking research skills, specifically in study design, data collection and analysis. Students will acquire foundational skills through three required classes (9 credits) and then choose electives (6 credits) that will allow them to tailor their individual research goals. Each student will be assigned to a research mentor who will serve as an advisor and as needed, will facilitate connections with mentors, content experts and methodologists. Faculty, staff and clinicians come to the college for research guidance regularly and this would provide a formal mechanism for training.

Courses can be applied toward the Master of Public Health upon successful completion.
