The Medical Oncology Executive Committee actively seeks to make continual advancements in the department, with a vision to build programs to enhance our reputation and recognition, develop process excellence, establish strong human resources and expertise, and to achieve financial success in all academic, research, and clinical care arenas.
The SKCC Quality Committee (SKCC-QC) of the Department of Medical Oncology strives to provide a multidisciplinary approach to improving the care of patients with oncological diseases at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center of Thomas Jefferson University/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. This includes a focus on patient safety, quality of care, and ethical decision making. In an effort to provide state-of-the-art care with compassion, respect, and dignity at all stages of the disease process, this group will take proactive and reactive measures to recommend improvement in patient care.
