Internships & Practicum

The MSIA curriculum helps you put your learning into practice. You may satisfy the internship/practicum for-credit elective with a structured and monitored internship, participation in a service-learning project, or through a university design-build project. This is an opportunity for you to get first-hand experience and to put your professional knowledge into practice.

This semester-long third-year learning opportunity provides students with a chance to integrate theory and practice in a hands-on practical experience and supports the students in building their industry ties and professional network. A faculty advisor assists students in finding an appropriate internship or practicum placement within institutions, companies or organizations that are highly respected in the field.
