Dual MHA/MD Program
The Master of Healthcare Administration/Doctor of Medicine (MHA/MD) dual degree option is open to students enrolled at Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
This program prepares healthcare professionals to integrate clinical practice with administrative and leadership roles. The goal is to ensure quality care, efficiency, health equity and patient-centered care in various healthcare settings and to develop future leaders of healthcare organizations.
Medical students from Sidney Kimmel Medical College can pursue an accelerated Master of Healthcare Administration at the College of Population Health by taking a dedicated year out of medical school between the third and fourth year. This integrated Healthcare Administration year offers comprehensive training in operations, leadership, change management, statistics, human resources, innovation, entrepreneurship, health economics and the healthcare ecosystem.
