Accelerated Health Sciences BS/Medical Lab Sciences and Biotechnology MS

In our stimulating and supportive environment, you will build a strong foundation in sciences and humanities, preparing you for success in upper-division courses for the BS in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the Jefferson Center City campus. Students in the Health Sciences dual degree programs take courses with other pre-medical and health students, while experiencing college life on the East Falls campus.

Program Format

On-site | East Falls Campus for first 3 years, Center City Campus for final 2 years

Program Length

5 years, accelerated program

Students will complete a minimum of 99 credits of pre-professional coursework in the first three years of study on the East Falls campus. These fulfill all necessary professional program prerequisite coursework. Students who interview and maintain progression criteria are guaranteed to matriculate into the professional phase. Jefferson’s academic advisors and faculty work closely with our students on course selection and academic performance to ensure that each student is on pace to transition into the professional phase of the program.
