Tuition Discounting Programs

Effective 2024: Our new Tuition Rate Restructuring provides improved tuition rates for those currently using our discounted offerings. As a result, the JCRS Alumni Tuition Discount Program and Advanced Education Grants are discontinued. The Fieldwork Educator Tuition Assistance Program has been revised to $250 per credit for those who meet the criteria.

JCRS Alumni Tuition Discount Program

Graduates from a degree-granting or certificate program of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia University, or Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science are eligible for the Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Science (JCRS) Alumni Tuition Discount Program. The JCRS Alumni Discount Program provides a 25% tuition discount for students entering the PP-OTD and JCRS Advanced Practice Certification programs before Fall 2024.

Fieldwork Educator Tuition Assistance Program

The Fieldwork Educator Tuition Assistance Program offers individuals who have supervised at least 1 Jefferson’s Level II fieldwork or capstone student in the last 12 months a discount in recognition of their service to the university and the profession. A discount of up to 20% is applied to each semester the student meets eligibility criteria.

Any admitted student who believes they are eligible for the Fieldwork Educator Tuition Assistance Program should complete the application form and email it to the PP-OTD Program Director, Marie-Christine.Potvin@Jefferson.edu.

Advanced Education Grants

The Advanced Education Grant (AEG) provides up to 25% tuition reductions to eligible students who require financial support to complete their PP-OTD degree. Students eligible for an AEG receive less than $5,000 per year of continuing education funds or tuition reimbursement from their employers and can articulate the value of earning this degree to their professional trajectory. International students are encouraged to apply.

Any admitted student before Fall 2024 who believes they are eligible for an AEG should complete the application form and email it to the PP-OTD Program Director, Marie-Christine.Potvin@Jefferson.edu.

Students may be eligible for more than one form of college and program financial aid in that case the tuition reductions are cumulative.

Employee Tuition Reimbursement

Your employers may have funds budgeted to pay for tuition, either as tuition reimbursement programs or continuing education funds. If you are a Jefferson Health employee, visit MyJeffHub for more information on Jefferson's Tuition Assistance Program (secure link).
