Advanced Education Grants Program
The Advanced Education Grants Program (AEGP) provides financial assistance opportunities to a diverse group of students who require aid and bring strong potential for leadership, cultural diversity, and show promise as change agents for occupational therapy. AEGP is designed for new students enrolling in the Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program (PP-OTD) or who enroll in all 4 courses of Advanced Practice Certificate (APC) programs, and who have minimal or no assistance from employers to fund their advanced study. International students are encouraged to apply.
To demonstrate that you qualify, please provide:
- A copy of your tuition assistance policy
- A link to your employer’s web page
- A written statement that describes the amount of support received from your employer as part of your application.
Applying
Post-Professional OTD Candidates
Eligibility is determined based on a review of the materials in your application, including your personal statement/essay. You may add to your statement (even if you already submitted it) describing your strong potential for leadership and promise as a change agent for occupational therapy.
APC Students
Complete the non-matriculant registration form, then submit your CV and a statement of no more than 1000 words describing your potential as a leader and change agent in OT to OTD-APC@jefferson.edu.
