Our Department of Occupational Therapy is ranked #6 nationally and #1 in the Delaware Valley by U.S. News and World Report. Whether students begin their journey at Jefferson straight out of high school, with a bachelor's degree, or with an entry-level degree in occupational therapy, all Jefferson graduates are prepared for successful careers.

Our 3-year graduation rates across all programs fall within the 90th percentile.

Jefferson leads the way in healthcare education with the use of innovative teaching strategies, including state-of-the-art simulation, standardized patients & consumer instructors and targeted interprofessional education opportunities allowing students to learn alongside peers in other health, medical and design professions. All classes are taught by innovative, highly experienced faculty, many of whom are involved in funded research, service and training projects. Faculty and students have an opportunity to collaborate on projects based in Jefferson Elder Care, the Center for Outcomes & Measurement and the Autism Center of Excellence.
