The Division of Neuro-Oncologic Neurosurgery and Stereotactic Radiosurgery is devoted to the care of patients and advancement of knowledge for patients with benign and malignant brain tumors. We are committed to the most effective, often least invasive, and ultimately the most innovative care for these patients. We routinely draw from the latest technological advancements to achieve our outcomes, including the use of stereotactic radiosurgery, fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy, and minimally invasive surgery of the skull base through the use of image-guided neuro-endoscopy. In a nationwide survey of 607 hospitals performed by the American College of Surgeons, Jefferson was the leading institution in the treatment of primary brain tumors.
