Division of Molecular Radiation Biology

The Molecular Radiation Biology Division in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University aims to understand the fundamental aspects of cancer biology and optimal integration of targeted therapeutics, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hyperthermia, as well as modulating a patient’s diet.

These laboratory investigations are being translated into novel clinical trials at the Kimmel Cancer Center and RTOG/NRG. Our efforts will ultimately improve patient outcomes by integrating more effective cancer therapies with less toxicity into the clinic. Our research projects are supported by grants from NCI, DOD, ASTRO and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
